Aaditya Saraiya<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div><\/div>

Aaditya Saraiya<\/h3>\t\t\t

Aaditya is deeply passionate about creating reliable robotic solutions. He has a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani- Dubai Campus, where he led his undergraduate robotics team to develop a drone solution to monitor and clean oil spills. The project has generated interest from the UAE government and has been featured at \u2018The UAE Drones for Good 2017\u2019 competition and received funding by \u2018ExpoLive 2020\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, he is excited by technologies like SLAM, 3D reconstruction and their potential application to robotics, AR and high-fidelity 3D mapping. In the future, he\u2019d like to work on robotics business solutions which can add value to human lives. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Aman Agarwal<\/h3>\t\t\t

Aman is a roboticist in the making who is passionate about developing holistic solutions to complex challenges leveraging technology, design and business. Aman has a Bachelor\u2019s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master\u2019s in Product Design from IIT Madras in India where he founded and led a team to build a Mars Rover for University Rover Challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aman\u2019s current interests lie in field robotics and mobile manipulation, he will be responsible for motion planning and control of the robotic system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dung-Han Lee<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div><\/div>

Dung-Han Lee<\/h3>\t\t\t

Dung-Han is a first-year MRSD student at the Robotics Institute (RI). Prior to RI, he graduated from National Taiwan University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Dung-Han has participated in various robotic undergraduate research projects, such as indoor human following robot, dynamic analysis of a gymnastic 3-link robot and automated surgical systems.<\/p>\n

Dung-Han\u2019s interests lie in mobile robots and perception such as sensor fusion and visual analytics. He will be mainly responsible for sensor interfacing and offline visual analysis of plant health in this project.<\/p>\n

Hillel Hochsztein<\/h3>\t\t\t

Hillel is a mechanical engineer by training with experience in mechatronics, testing, and design. He is currently a student at Carnegie Mellon University working on a Masters of science in Robotic Systems Development. Through this program he is hoping to expand his technical repetoire especially in the fields of manipulation and controls. In his free time Hillel enjoys DIY projects, cooking, and Yoyo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

John Macdonald<\/h3>\t\t\t

John is super passionate about robotics, having built his first robot in the second grade and learned to program robots with BASIC in the fifth grade. John has an BS in Computer Science from Cornell University, where he lead the Software subteam of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle team to a first-place finish in the international RoboSub competition. Currently, his main interests lie in perception, especially applying learning and probabilistic methods to computer vision and sensor fusion.
