Phoeni<strong>X<\/strong> team proposes cutting edge, fully autonomous, heterogeneous, multi-agent robotics system to collaboratively locate and extinguish the fire without any human intervention in an unknown environment. Our system comprises <strong>UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)<\/strong> and <strong>AGV (Automated Ground Vehicle)<\/strong> equipped with <strong>thermal\/night vision camera<\/strong> which uses <strong>deep learning<\/strong> based methods for detecting and localizing fire. Our system also uses a <strong>stereo camera<\/strong> to create a real-time <strong>3D map<\/strong> of the environment while simultaneously localizing the system in that map. The system uses state of the art algorithms to explore the environment while avoiding collisions. UAV have roughly <strong>20 minutes<\/strong> of flight time, high payload capacity <strong>(2 Kg)<\/strong>, and improved stability that can be attributed to its <strong>tilted hexacopter<\/strong> design. Both vehicles also carry extinguishing material which it can strategically deploy on the target fire to extinguish. UAV and AGV shares information of fire location, extinguishing material status to make smart decision resulting in a timely efficient response.
