He is proficient in control theories and applications, hardware design, and motion analysis. His interest in robotics is in medical devices and includes prosthetics, exoskeletons and surgical robotics. She has background in search and planning and is in charge of the Searching and Palpating Subsystem of the Chopsticks Surgical System. She is also the team project manager. She also heads the Sensors Subsystem<span class=\"lt-line-clamp__raw-line\"> and performed tasks such as camera-robot registration on the system. She has worked as a human-robot interaction engineer for human-environment service robots. Before joining CMU, she has background in computer vision, especially medical image analysis. She is also proficient in motion planning and learning based control.
