Convenient Solution to Apartment Package Management
Jack lives in One on Centre, which has the new apartment drone delivery system.
At night, he gets hungry and orders food from Domino’s Pizza.
Domino’s makes his dinner and places it in a partnered food delivery UGV, which was deployed after his order.
The UGV drives up to One on Centre and parks roadside.
The apartment drone flies over from its charging station at One on Centre, picks up the food from the UGV, and flies up to Jack’s apartment, #1101.
There’s a platform attached to the window, and the drone drops the food onto the platform and flies back to its charging station.
Jack opens his window, takes the food, and enjoys dinner without ever having to leave his room.
The apartment never has to deal with package management, and there is no threat of porch pirates.
