Subramanian Krishnan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Subramanian (pronunciation<\/a>;<\/em>\u00a0for the tongue-tied, he goes by Subbu) is an enthusiastic roboticist looking to build a career in perception and planning for autonomous systems. Subbu is primarily experienced in software development in ROS. He is one of the early software developers of RoboMuse 4.0, an autonomous mobile assistant, where he scripted the mapping, planning and exploration pipeline. RoboMuse’s core technologies are now used in the development of the autonomous indoor cart of the startup, Peer Robotics. He holds an undergraduate degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. Apart from robots, Subbu is crazy over anything that sounds like a piano or tastes like Indian food.<\/p>\n

Nikita Mishra<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nikita is the Project Manager. She\u2019s interested in working on localization problems in the Autonomous Driving industry. Prior to CMU, Nikita worked as a Robotics Applications Engineer at Tata Motors’ Robotics and Automation subsidiary, providing manufacturing solutions with industrial arms. She received her bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal, India. You will always find her making lists, and in her free time she enjoys cooking.<\/p>\n

Szu-Yu (Eva) Mo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Eva is interested in SLAM, robotics, and computer vision. She wants to join the autonomous driving industry so hard, and she thinks doing this project is a big step toward it. She likes to build keyboards, but in fact she got only two hands to type. Therefore, most of the time her keyboards feel bored since Eva is not using them. Eva likes to play basketball. If you can\u2019t find her in front of a desktop, she\u2019s on the court. Go find her!<\/p>\n

Kevin is a more-enthusiastic-than-Subbu engineer who is excited about all aspects of software development for robotics. He has 2 years of experience developing robust automated test software for thermal cameras at FLIR Systems. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in Boston. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, and piano.<\/p>\n
