Kaushik received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020, and is currently a graduate student at the Robotics Institute in Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to pursuing his Master’s degree, he worked as an autonomy engineer for indoor mobile robots and industrial manipulators in both academia and industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Parker Hill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mechanical Systems Engineering Lead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Parker is a Master\u2019s student at Carnegie Mellon University studying Robotic Systems Development, and has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego in Bioengineering. He is interested in exploring ways of furthering the implementation of autonomy in surgical robotics as well as the design of low-cost lower limbs prosthetics. Parker’s expertise lies in prototyping and mechanical design, musculoskeletal and soft tissue biomechanics, mechanical testing, and Python\/Matlab programming.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Anthony Kyu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Controls and Actuation Lead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anthony Kyu is a Master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University studying Robotic Systems Development, and has an undergraduate degree from NC State University in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering concentrating in Bioinstrumentation with a minor in Computer Programming. He has a passion for medical robotics and prosthetics, and has experience in developing prosthetics and medical robots in both academia and industry. Through his experience in the industry, academia, and coursework, Anthony gained expertise in electromechanical design, controls, programming, and signal processing (analog and digital).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sundaram Seivur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Trajectory Planning Lead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sundaram Seivur is a student in the Masters in Robotic Systems Development program at Carnegie Mellon University with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. He previously worked as a Project Assistant in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India where he developed a ossiculoplasty replacement prosthesis. His interests are in the fields of Medical Robotics, Computer Vision, Controls and Planning. Through his experiences in academia and industry, he has gained expertise in mechanical design, finite element modeling and fabrication of robotics systems.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
