Overview
The power distribution PCB will take in power from a power supply and safely provide 12V to the Dynamixel Shield to allow for operation of the motors of a custom-made end-effector. In doing so, diodes, capacitors, and a linear voltage regulator are employed for protection from reverse voltage, overvoltage, and transients. This PBD also features an emergency stop as a safety measure to allow the user to quick stop this subsystem. This is crucial in ensuring safety to users due to the sharpness of the blades on the end-effector. There are also two LEDs on the PDB to alert us as users whether or not:
1.) the supply is providing energy to the PDB
2.) the PDB is supplying energy to the end-effector through the 12V line.
