In doing so, diodes, capacitors, and a linear voltage regulator are employed for protection from reverse voltage, overvoltage, and transients. This PBD also features an emergency stop as a safety measure to allow the user to quick stop this subsystem. This is crucial in ensuring safety to users due to the sharpness of the blades on the end-effector.
