Full-System Testing

For the full system testing, we aimed to achieve

  • Reach goal within drift <= 5m
  • Avoid curb of height ≥ 5cm
  • Avoid static humans and obstacles
  • Complete a 250m route within 5 min
  • Number of E-STOP safety interventions <= 2

Fall Semester

Component Testing

Each of the following subsystems was tested individually, and all of them worked well separately.

  1. Hardware
  2. Sensing
  3. Perception
  4. Planning
  5. UI

Full-System Testing

For the full system testing, we aimed to achieve quantitative metrics:

  • Consider moving pedestrian >=2, replan trajectories <= 50 msec
  • Carry payload <= 200lb
  • Traverse sidewalk ≤ 15 degrees
  • Reach goal within drift <= 5m
  • Number of teleop intervention <= 1, teleop distance <= 5m
  • Receive commands from the user, success rate >=70%
  • React to emergency stop <= 50ms
