Daksh Adhar

Daksh is a graduate student in the Robotics Systems Development (MRSD ’26) program at Carnegie Mellon University. With a strong foundation in Applied Physics from IIT Guwahati, he specializes in rehabilitation robotics, biomedical systems, and biomimetics. His diverse experience in robotics includes projects such as EMG-controlled prosthetics, Sim2Real reinforcement learning agents for grasping soft objects, drone control systems, wearable devices for the hearing impaired, and tendon-driven mechanisms inspired by biological systems. For this project, Daksh is responsible for hardware development and robot planning for the manipulator.

Wentao Cao

Wentao is a graduate student in the MRSD program at Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in robot perception and generative AI. With a strong interdisciplinary background spanning Physics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Software Engineering, he is passionate about designing intelligent systems that bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. As a lifelong learner and forward-thinking innovator, Wentao thrives on collaboration and is deeply committed to applying emerging technologies to solve complex, real-world problems. In this project, he leads the development of Augmented Reality integration and Perception systems, ensuring seamless interaction between the user and autonomous platforms.

Sreeharsha Paruchuri

Sreeharsha gained foundational experience in Computer Vision methods in Robotics, specifically 3D scene understanding and SLAM, as a researcher at the Robotics Research Center during his undergrad at the International Institute of Information Technology – Hyderabad. Professionally, he’s worked on path planning using Reinforcement Learning methods to enhance robot navigation using multi-modal sensory inputs. His current studies at CMU emphasize AI-based robotics systems and in this project he is responsible for the vision stack in addition to contributing to the Augmented Reality (AR) framework.

Zihan Qu

As a student at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute (CMU RI), I am deeply passionate about advancing embodied intelligence and robotics. My focus is on robotics perception, manipulation, reasoning, and the development of integrated robotic systems, as well as enhancing the intelligence and capabilities of robots. In this project, I am responsible for Augmented Reality (AR) development as well as robot manipulation part. I believe that the true power of robotics innovation lies in its transparency, efficiency, and accessibility. If you are also dedicated to this field, feel free to connect with me!

Parth Singh

Parth is a Master’s student in Robotic Systems Development at CMU with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from DTU, India. He has extensive experience in designing energy-efficient automotive systems through competitions like Formula Student and Shell Eco-Marathon. His portfolio extends to a diverse range of projects involving biomimetic tendon-driven marine robots, medical image segmentation with FSI analysis for optimized stent placement, and satellite attitude control systems. In this project, his primary focus is on hardware integration and developing the planning stack for robotic manipulation.
