Fall Validation Experiment

1. Cabot is placed in front of the door to NSH 4524 with a preset destination.
2. Cabot starts navigation, leading the user holding the iPhone.
3. Non-visual feedback will be given to user regarding directions.
4. Cabot alerts user when destination is reached.
5. User powers off Cabot.

Spring Validation Experiment

1. Cabot is taken to NSH 4524 and user can select several destinations.
2. User inputs destination through custom user interface on smartphone.
3. Cabot navigates to the destination, leading the user. Cabot avoids local obstacles on different surfaces and updates user with regards to: directions (upcoming turns) and number of pedestrians ahead through verbal feedback.
4. Cabot alerts user when destination is reached.
5. User can select another destination.
