Matthew Booker
Matthew has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. His interests lie in the areas of planning, localization, and perception where he has worked on several projects both academically and within the industry. Matthew hopes to combine his passion for building and racing quadcopters with his robotics experience to develop an autonomous flight system capable of solving the delivery challenge.
Udit Patadia
Udit completed his undergraduate degree in Electronics from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute(VJTI), India. Since his graduation in 2016, Udit has gained work experience in different fields like app development, embedded systems, and software design. Through the MRSD program and this project, he plans to gain more knowledge in his fields of interests β perception, planning, and localization. Udit is an avid Liverpool fan and likes to play games in his free time. If you want to get in touch with Udit, you can contact him via email at udit@cmu.edu or LinkedIn.
Hardik Singh
Hardik believes that entrepreneurship and robotics are two sides of an important equation; entrepreneurship is about identifying problems to solve, and robotics is about creating powerful solutions. As a member of project DAIR, he is excited to be bringing new capabilities to the drone delivery space that will open doors for the deployment of improved and higher quality delivery solutions to many of the time-critical logistics problems facing the world today.
In the MRSD program, Hardik is developing deep technical knowledge of robotics with systems engineering practices and building off of his past in robotics research and industry. His experience as Product Manager at HEBI Robotics (Pittsburgh, PA) landed him at the center of business development and product engineering, and he hopes to continue learning to work in the space shared by those two disciplines. With this motivation, he is serving as Project Manager and Delivery Subsystem Lead in the Project DAIR team. In his free time, Hardik likes to dance, travel to new places, and is a big fan of Liverpool Football Club. Heβs always interested in meeting new people and comparing thoughts about anything and everything - feel free to reach out via email or LinkedIn!
