Yatharth is a first-year masters student in the MRSD program at CMU’s Robotics Institute. Previously he worked at CollabLens, an early-stage startup working on industrial data acquisition and inferencing systems, where he led the ideation, development, and deployment cycle of the products. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the Delhi Technological University, during which he pursued research and developmental projects in the domain of robotics and automation, focusing on perception and controls.

Michael is a first year student in the MRSD program at CMU. Michael is pursuing a dual degree between CMU MRSD and Harvard Law School. Prior to graduate school, Michael was a quantitative researcher at AQR Capital Management. Michael is a graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School with a concentration in Finance.

David is in his first year as a student in the MRSD program at CMU. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University where he was a Wheatley Student Scholar. While at BYU, David worked as a researcher in the fields of optofluidics and soft robotics. David is currently a SMART Scholar and will be working as an intern at NIWC Pacific the summer of 2024.

Leo is a first year MRSD student at CMU. He has a B.S. in aerospace engineering and a minor degree in engineering physics from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil) and an M.S. in aerospace engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO (France), where he was a CAPES-Brafitec scholar. He specializes in autonomous systems and fluid dynamics and has worked with drone research at LAAS-CNRS in the fields of collision avoidance, object manipulation and motion planning.

Louis is a first year masters student in the MRSD program within CMU’s Robotics Institute. Prior to joining the MRSD program, Louis worked as a mechanical engineer at Bear Robotics, a mobile service robot company based in California. Louis received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from CMU, with an additional major in French and minor in Robotics.
