Bird’s Eye View Test
- BEV showed color transitions in 3D when pilot flies towards obstacle (Green >1.5s, 1.5 s<= Yellow<1s, Red <=1s)
- Sound warnings were heard when the quadcopter flew towards each obstacle and pilot gaveĀ throttle input towards it
- Beeps were heard based on time to impact ( t<=1.5s) and no beeps were heard otherwise
- The most dangerous obstacle point blinked on the BEV (white marker), in sync with the beeps
- BEV showed all obstacles greater than 2m x 2m x 2m
- Flysense interface displayed information with latency of no more than 0.2s
Emergency Brake Test
- Quad approached virtual obstacle multiple times, did not get closer than 1m from the virtual obstacle
- Quad was unconstrained in dimensions that did not contain the virtual obstacle
- Quad was able to pass through obstacle when emergency stop functionality was not engaged
