App and XBee collaboration:
GUI: The user will use a GUI to tell their vehicle to park or return. Below is the Android application, called Virtual Valet, that will be used. In addition to the two buttons that the user will use to communicate to the vehicle, the app also displays the status of the vehicle and the Estimated Time to Park or Estimated Time to Arrival, as appropriate.
Mobile Platform: We are using the Oculus Prime as our mobile platform, pictured below.
Car to Car Communication: An illustration of the Vehicular Networks (VANET), an architecture that will be used for direct car to car communication. VANET is an ad-hoc network that will be implemented using a mesh topology.
