Meet Team Salus!
Corinne majored in Computer Science at Bowdoin College where she led Bowdoin’s RoboCup team, an international robotic soccer league. Her focus was on robotic vision, behaviors, and motion. Corinne then worked as a software engineer in various segments of Disney including Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development, TV Animation, Enterprise Technology, and Disney Streaming Service.
Neeraj graduated from Boston University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation he worked at Amazon Robotics as a Mechatronics Engineer. He then moved onto the lead controls engineer for Procter & Gamble’s largest startup manufacturing site. Finally, he was a System Architect/Product Developer at Shark Robotics focusing on their SLAM navigation robots. Raj’s focuses are electrical design, motor control and microcontrollers.
Grace completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout undergrad, she conducted research at a neural-controlled robotics lab as well as completed an 8-month co-op at Carnegie Robotics on the Perception team. She specializes in software development (comfortable in C++ and Python) and has experience using ROS and Gazebo for simulation.
Jacob graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Computer Engineering in spring 2020. Most of his prior robotics experience is related to autonomous vehicle technology, both in industry and research. In Minnesota, he worked for two years at a startup called VSI Labs doing research and development on autonomous vehicles. Due to the startup nature of VSI Labs, Jacob was exposed to all phases and major subsystems of the projects.
Jonathan graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jonathan is our mechanical systems lead and has experience doing mechanical design in a variety of environments, from go-karts to biomedical device production fixtures. He also worked as a control engineer in an ECE lab last year and has experience with microcontrollers, electromechanical systems design, assembly, and analysis.
