Chandreyee Bhaumik

Chandreyee is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and has experience working on automation for industrial robots. Her major areas of focus are perception and modelling subsystems for S.T.A.R.S.

Deval Shah

Deval is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. He comes from background in warehouse robotics and has experience in “full-stack” of the robotics development. At S.T.A.R.S. he is majorly involved with simulation subsystem as well as behavior modelling.

Harsh Sharma

Harsh is a graduate student at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. He has a Bachelor’s from IIT Indore with major in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining as a graduate student, he worked with Prof. Howie Choset and Matt Travers in the biorobotics lab. He primarily focused on the tracking algorithm of the dataprocessing subsystem for the STARS system.

Mandeep Singh

Mandeep is a graduate student at the Robotics Institute and has experience in planning & control for autonomous vehicles. He has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and his main area of focus lies on behavior planning for autonomous vehicles.

Tarang Shah

Tarang is a Robotics graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University with a varied background in software engineering, computer vision, robotics and electronics. He comes with experience of working on deep learning for computer vision and software at HERE. He also has previous entrepreneurial experience building a robotics product, and has interviewed at Y Combinator. At Team S.T.A.R.S., Tarang is responsible for perception, modelling and software and is also the project manager.
